about the teacher

Practicing yoga is an intentional practice for anyone and everyone & I love being here as a guide.

Inspired by a diverse lineage of teachers, Sonia fosters an environment of growth, healing, and restoring.

Yoga is an amazing tool for both movement and the mindsets that are practiced on the mat really do spill over into all aspects & areas of life.

Yoga is the way I live my liffeee & I love being there for everyone who shows up with open-mindedness, curiosity, and compassion.

Sonia's practice began as a cultural tradition. As she grew in her yoga journey, she found that yoga nurtured her mind, body, and spirit, leading her to delve deeper into the ancient philosophy.

Sonia knows that there’s beauty in consistently showing up to the mat - and hopes that other's find consistency in their practice.

For one, the foundations of how your mind perceieves is built - Your attitudes & life approaches; are enhanced, and the depths of them become clear while in each yoga posture.

2. Intellectually - You become aware of the knowledge you possess at the moment. You can discern which knowledge your mind is focused on in that time. You can use this as a benchmark to either set intentions and take action on those intentions.

3. Physical body - Using your body weight and force, each body part and each organ is strengthened, stretched, and kept in better health.

4. Spiritually - You create space to notice how your energy distribution and levels affect you and your body and what effect that has on your mind. Use these reflections to deepen your interactions with yourself, those around you, and the rest of the universe helps to have healthier connections.

✍🏽Checking in after a yoga session with these four aspects implements a system for you to pause, reflect, and take note of how you grow over time.
